Respiratory Discharge
Respiratory discharge can be assessed using either catch and release or the transect method. There should be active discharge from one or both nares (nostrils) to be scored. While this measure is relatively rare, it can be used to detect disease in a flock.
Any evidence of liquid or mucus around nares or beak. This measure is scored if one or both nares show discharge.
As respiratory discharge is so rare, there is currently no repeatability test for this measure.
