Foot Abnormality


​​Assess only the worst foot using the catch and release method for best results. Severity assessments for scores of 2 may be done using the transect method.

Occurrence Assessment

Foot abnormalities is a category that encompasses several types of foot lesions including hyperkeratosis, foot pad dermatitis, and bumble foot.

Regardless of the lesion type, abnormalities must be at least 0.5 cm (approximately the size of a pea) or swelling is observable from the dorsal (top) surface of the foot to be scored.
